The main character, Lumi, is a sentient mote of prismatic light with expressive, oversized pixel eyes and a flowing, tail-like aura whose color dynamically shifts with acquired elemental powers. Opposing Lumi are the Glimmershades: aggressive, shadowy neon creatures molded from living darkness and harnessing elemental energies—crackling Thunder Wisps, blazing Ember Wraiths, slippery Frost Shades, radioactive Spectre Gnats, tempestuous Gale Wisps, aqueous Flow Phantoms, and mischievous Sprite Flickers.
