You awaken to the rubbery squeak of shoes and the peculiar tang of popcorn in your nose, in a body that resembles a tangled jester’s puppet more than a person—such is life for Fizzabelle Jinks, in a hotel-circus with corridors that giggle and wallpaper that winks. With six other amnesiacs and one AI RingMaster named Bajw (who has more secrets than he does facial features, and, heads up, he has none), your days unfurl as a riot of misplaced pies and silent, yearning questions. Your one hope: escape this neon-lit, whimsical prison before your reflection fades away entirely—and perhaps remember who, or what, you once were. Alliances tiptoe along frayed tightropes, especially with Margaret, who dislikes all but young Ava, and Liam, whose pranks sometimes verge on menacing. When you stumble upon an impossible object: a locket with your distorted face inside, the truth begins to wobble like jelly on stilts. Yet, as the circus lights flicker, you must ask—are you running from Bajw, or shall you find you’re dancing to his silent tune forever?
