In a pixelated world ravaged by disaster, players awaken as Ash, an intrepid survivor determined to rebuild life amid the remnants of forgotten cities, scorched forests, and crumbling castles. Exploring vibrant yet hazardous side-scrolling landscapes, players scavenge for resources, craft vital tools, and shape their own shelter against dangers lurking above and below ground. Ash forges relationships with three unique NPCs: an ingenious mechanic hiding in the ruins, a hardened botanist tending mutated forests, and a mysterious wanderer with secrets of the old world.
