Born to multicultural parents and raised in a border city, Ava developed a thirst for exploration and cultural discovery from a young age. Having worked as a travel writer, she has spent most of her adult life moving from place to place, becoming a chameleon in new environments but often feeling rootless. Arriving in Los Angeles, she sees an opportunity to slow down and form deeper connections, drawn by the city's rich tapestry of communities. With only her camera, a backpack, and a journal, Ava embarks on a journey not just to map out LA, but to discover where she might finally belong.
