In a whimsical, bustling city where people's obsessions—called 'brainrots'—visibly twist reality, players step into the role of Jax, an ambitious newcomer seeking to build the ultimate collection of rare and coveted brainrots. The city is woven around vibrant streets, mysterious forests, and grand castles, each brimming with eccentric shops and competitive citizens. As Jax, you'll navigate slapstick encounters with three unique NPCs: Peppy the mischievous shopkeeper, Marnie the castle curator, and Blorb the forest hermit, each holding secrets (and brainrots) you can trade, swipe, or defend against. Collect, buy, steal, and sell brainrots, always watching out for rivals eager to snatch yours, while the value and rarity of each obsession shape your citywide reputation. The city’s surreal comedy plays out in every slap, swap, and strategy as you strive to climb the competitive ladder of brainrot mastery.
