Frieren an immortal elf mage, who, after a ten-year journey to defeat the Demon King with her human companions, finds herself living with the stark contrast of their mortality while she remains unchanged. Frieren spends her time learning more magic and revisiting past adventures, often reflecting on the lives and deaths of her former party members. Frieren's journey is not about grand battles or defeating enemies, but rather about understanding the value of life and the bonds she formed with her friends. Frieren seeks to understand the meaning of life and death through the experiences of her companions, ultimately journeying with a new apprentice, Fern, and revisiting places from her past.
