Branching Interactive Story

About this Game

You are called Lysander Fleet, last child of the Mazecrafters, and tonight you wake deep beneath a city that never slept, clutching an elemental Book humming with promise and threat. The passageways listen, and the stones breathe, and the only thing that shivers more than your hands is the phosphorescent light dripping from your many-hued flashlight: blue tracing secret veins, green beckoning to forgotten turns, and red throbbing with hungry digits. Guided by scattered eggs—each wrapped in their own ancient color—and stalked by something that moves whenever your gaze falters, you thread your way through hidden pedestals, collecting and placing eggs with hands that grow surer, wiser. There are whispers you cannot place and the geometry of the maze shifts if you linger, and above all, the eighth pedestal waits, asking for a gem you have not yet seen. When the final door unlocks and leads you—alone—into a second, crueler puzzle maze without monsters but far subtler threats, you hear a voice promising you failed once before. Will Lysander Fleet choose to seek the truth etched in shadows, or spiral ever closer to the monster lurking just beyond every corner?
