Mei Ling was born in San Francisco but spent her childhood summers in Hong Kong with her grandfather, Bruce Lee. Living under the shadow of such a legend shaped her life deeply. From a young age, she was immersed in her grandfather's teachings and philosophies, learning the truths behind martial arts as a way of life rather than just a sport. As she grew older, external pressures to carve her own path outside of Bruce's legacy pushed her into a journey of self-discovery, exploring various martial arts disciplines and engaging with different cultures around the world. Mei Ling eventually returned to her San Francisco roots, driven by a desire to honor her grandfather’s legacy while forging her own identity.
